If I don't have my surgery soon I can and will do my best to do the 12/13 and backup will be the next weekend.

I'm up in the air....want to do two of the three events in SEPT including some match-racing with the Berg's GOONA

Weather.com shows friday the 18th as Mostly cloudy 70degrees.

I'm going to schedule the afternoon off work, planning to go- Would prefer the 18th vs teh 25th, as already have the BBQ on sat & a carshow on Sun that i'm doing that weekend...

Anyone else thinking of coming out this friday?

I'd like to at least get one time slip this year out of the cutlass with the new carb & fuel system problems resolved... Even if the best i could hope for right now would be a 15.0 :rolleyes:

I was doing remodel last FRI so I am declaring myself 'present for duty' the 18th.
I'm gonna duck under the Elky in the AM, remove the DS...get some new solid U-Joints in there.... While she is up in the air...do the air bag thing. Lots more room in the garage after some sales and reset.

I think the 25th might be the last hurra for the year... or until the holloween bash atleast. I will try, and hope for cool conditions and a sticky track.

If I don't make the next race out at bremerton, could one of you guys snap a couple pictures of that wheel standing Porsche? I would like to get some pictures of it to frame up for the owner as a surprise gift.

My friend Ron owns and drives it. He has worked on it for a couple years and the thing has finally got all the bugs worked out. It's the same Yellow Porsche that caught on fire last year.

He has put tons of work into it and it has turned out AWESOME. If you get a chance, stop by and say hi to him. It is really a unique project.

It is a Porsche 911 with a narrowed Olds Toranado transaxle, and a dual quad 383.

I heard the last run he ran an 11.02 or something in it.
