I'm going to put a Wilwood disc setup on the front of my 69 chevelle. The car is a 4 wheel manual drum brake car. What situations have you guys come across? Any extra parts required? I have a stock, dual resevoir, masercylinder. The kit I'm considering is the Dynalite Pro Series. Give me some feedback!

You'll need to replace the master cylinder with a disc/drum one. You'll also need stainless brake hoses, but they should come with the kit. You are going to need disc brake caliper tools, like torx and hex sockets. And you're also going to need safety wire pliers and safety wire, for the rotor and hub assembly. Can't think offhand of anything else "special" it requires. Hope that helps to start off with.

The Wilwood kit I installed on the 69 did not come with the stainless lines. This was about 6 years ago though, so they might have added these to the kit. But be prepared to buy them. You will need disk brake wheel bearing grease as well. I believe the kit comes with the bearings. Was a very nice kit to install, and I think they worked out some of the bugs in the directions. They are a breeze to change the pads with the Dynalite calipers!

the kits do not include the braided lines. They want a 100.0 for the line kit. I figured I could get them made locally for about 75.0. Did You guys use your stock master, mine is a dual resevoir. What did you guys use for a proportioning valve? How much actual weight savings do you think you got? Thanks
