I just got my car back together and I noticed that with even the slightest left steer pressure (even just enough to stay straight) I get a growling noise/vibration. If I put even the slightest right steer in it stops. The only thing I did to the suspension while the motor and trans were out was to remove some cheesy looking spring spacers from the front springs. The driveshaft, trans, clutch are all new. What would cause this? Thanks, Skip

Check your front end for excess wheel bearing play or bad left side bearing(s).
