Do the convertibles come with this inner rocker brace.This is a skylark picture.I have new inner and outer rockers I will be installing with new floor pans/braces.My rockers were replaced so I have no guide to go by.Anyone replaced these?Just fabricate the braces as they are not listed by anyone?Thanks for any input.

Does anybody have pictures of these inner rocker braces and possibly measurements?Do they have any drain holes?I will be fabricating these pieces.I have the 1 piece floor w/braces,trunk and inner/outer rockers.Any help with these questions would be appreciated as I hope to have time to get started.

what year is the skylark and your convertible?i bought a 72 skylark cowl/firewall section to use on my 69 convertible resto project.i did not see any thing in between the rockers.on either the skylark cowl or my vert.hope that helps

I believe the picture is of a 65 or 66.From what I have gathered so far,this brace is in 64-67 a-body convertibles.I will be fabricating one and just wanted to get it as close to origonal design as possible.

Wish I could help but my inner and outer rockers where perfect. I think I only had to patch a small section on one of the inner rockers.

Iam having the rocker inner brace fabricated over the weekend.I,and this is with crossed fingers depending on if my wife invents anymore home projects for me,will be starting on the rebuild very shortly.I will try to post pictures as I go.I think this brace will give alot of stiffness to the body.Iam putting some pro touring aspects to the car and this is definetly going to help.Thanks again to all who responded to my question.

I have had the inner rocker supports fabricated.The metal was too thick for my friends break to bend. I had a metal fabrication shop with a hydraulic press bend the 6' metal using the template that was made to fit inside a test piece of rocker.This should give the car alot of additional strength against flex.I will tie the cowl in with similar thickness metal where it is inbetween the inner and outer rockers.
