Best of luck with your surgery and recovery Rocky. My Dad had hip replacement surgery last year and now he's running around like a teenager. You'll be feeling much better in no time!

Best of doctor's skill with your surgery.
My cuz has had both hips replaced. He is much more mobile than before the surgery.
You'll be able to jump through the window getting in your car like the Dukes of Hazard before long!

Good luck!!

I know people who have had knee replacements and a few with hip replacements, and they all seem to say, "I wish I had gotten it done sooner."

Make sure they use the right bushings and lube and you'll be as good as new. You ought to drop a good tenth on two on your 60-foots!!:D

Good luck man, I hope all goes well.

Amazing how much they have improved. Mom had one done about 15 years ago and was down for a couple of months. She had it done again about 6 months ago and they had her up putting weight on it the next day. She was darn near perfect in a month. A friends wife had it done in June and is feeling so good she is going to have the other one done as soon as she can. The operation is going to go just fine.

Well, I've been home from the hospital for a couple of days now, and decided to set down at the computer for a while.

The operation went went well, I can move around the house with my cane. Some things are done with great difficulty, getting in and out of bed is one of my tougher tasks.

Lets say when you have 40 staples that run around you butt cheek and down on your leg, finding a comfortable position is a great challange. sleeping in bed is out of the question. Thank God I have a big leather recliner.

But any way, I'm home, doing a little better by the day, and thanks for everyone's best wishes and prayers.
