Anyone got a pic or description of how to wire the back of a '66 KK tach? Wiring is not my strong suit. :o I have searched here and elsewhere and found nothing.

I've got a brown wire, a black/pink wire, and a gray wire and I'm just not sure where they go. There's also the lamp wire, which is black ... don't know where it goes outside of the tach.

I bought a new harness which connects to the leads coming out of the tach to the fuse box and coil, but I've got that figured out.

Thanks a lot! :)

The "Pink" wire should go to the "Ignition" circuit on the fuse box...

The "Brown" wire goes to the coil (negative side?)

The "Gray" should go to the "Instrument Light" circuit on the fuse box,

and

the "Black" should be "ground".

I would pull the guage out of the housing (one screw in the back) and make sure where the wires are hooked up inside.

This is what I want to know. I've got the routing going to power and the coil figured out. Thanks. :)
