I just installed a baer racing manual 4 whell disc brake kit on my 64 chevelle the fronts are two piston pbr calipers the the rear are single piston pbr calipers, I have a cpp master cylinder and a cpp fixed disc disc proportioning valve. The prob im having is very high pedal pressure It has next to no play thinking possible air trapped as we did not bench bleed the master. I takes me pushing as hard as I can with both feet to get the pedal to go down. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Probably not air, that gives a low pedal or squishy feel

Too high would seem to me to indicate something like a too long pedal pushrod to the master, where you have used up the piston travel in the master before you push the pedal.

Are the brake pistons engaged on the rotors and the rotors hard to turn?

I would look first at the pedal, pushrod length, and pushrod location on the pedal.

Y'all are making me nervous, I have to fit the new disc master to mine later this week....
