My wife and I are tooling around western NC looking for a log cabin. We took a little trip into old town Murphy, and the first thing I see is a restaurant called Chevelles. I had to go check it out. We stopped in for a burger and a beer. The owner's name is Larry, and he has white 66 with a 327. The place was cute with lots of car/Chevelle decorations. The stools at the bar all have Chevelle on the seat. There's even a Rat Fink at the bar. (I love Ed Roth). All in all, a great little place, I'll be back.

Dave posted a good map.
From Blue Ridge, travel on to Blairsville and turn left on Hwy 129. Ends at US 64 on the NC side. Turn right. Travel into bypass of Murphy.
Turn left at the light with a McDonalds on the left. Travel into downtown Murphy.
You can turn left at the main light in Blue Ridge and it ends at US 64 at Copper Hill/Duck Town TN. Turn right and travel into Murphy . About the same distance either way.
Must be alot of tourists here. A man named Rick and his wife stopped at the house on Sat. Asked if he could look at my Chevelle. Said he had one just like it. He was from northern Indiana.
I told him about this site.
