It was the coldest July ever here, with 168% of our average rainfall. Last winter was the second snowiest ever. Don't know whats happening to the Northeast:confused:

I did 10hrs OT so I can't complain. And I don't have to feel guilty about not getting the lawn cut. There's always a bright side! ;) :)

59 degrees and raining here.

Our summer lasted not quite two weeks. By 'summer' I mean warm enough to keep the window A/C unit on all day, crack the windows in a parked car, and actually see lots of skin on the ladies walking around in public.

We had a surprisingly hot day back in April when it was over 90 degrees and then it went all to hell after that and the warm days didnt return till early August. Now it seems we are back to cool weather for good.

I'll look at the bright side:

1) I didn't get caught once by my wife checking out the neighbor ladies in swimsuits here on the lake.
2) I didn't have to water the garden at all.
3) Electric bill was lower than normal.
4) Hardly used the boat, won't have to change the plugs or lower unit gear oil till after next season.
5) Only had one minor sunburn.
6) There were a lot of good cool easy-sleeping nights the last few months. I was less grumpy.
7) Not very long lines at the ice cream stand.


But I do wish we had more sunny days. Getting caught checking out the ladies is still worth looking. :)
