I changed to tall spindles on mine.

I installed front and rear antiswaybars, rear control arms, and bilstein shocks and drove mine for about a month that way. I then installed new springs and tall spindles w/ 12" discs later.

I thought handling was greatly improved with the first upgrade. The handling did not improve much after the spindle/spring install, though. Also, the bump steer problem that has been posted about really made the car darty.

If I was doing it over again, I would do the swaybars and shocks for sure. I would then make sure the bushings were in good shape and replace with new where required (rubber would probably be OK). If I then wanted to upgrade the brakes, I would go with some BAER brakes for the stock spindles.
