Hi,
On my 71 chevelle the electric fuel pump cuts in and out. Played with the wire on the fuse box and it looks like the previous owner went off a splice. There is a red and black wire. The black wire can't be the ground, any ideas what its there for? So the red and blk are crimped into a plastic connector that connects to the medal tab on the box. If I hold it on in a certain spot the fuel pump sounds strong. Any better way to connect the electric fuel pump? should I possibly install a seperate switch to power the fuel pump off the battery or no? Just don't want to start messing with the carb until I'm getting 100% fuel to the motor.
Bordens47@charter.net is my email.
Thanks,
Scott
