hey guys upon doin a search for this topic i still have a few questions...
Will the 70 camaro MC work with a disk front drum rear 1971 monte carlo ( chevelle )??
I need to do a power to manual swap and i need all the parts for the swap..
I know i need a disc front drum rear manual MC ,, but which one?
Will my old rod work with the manual setup? Where to get a new one if the old wont work graemlins/clonk.gif
Which proportioning valve will work with this setup.?

I have been told by a friend that a 71 chevelle manual MC for disc fronts should work but i am not sure..

I am doin the swap because of the cam and 140mph stops! New motor is ridiculous ;)
I thank all of you in advance!!

Try another search, also there is a little more info on this at www.teamcamaro.com (http://www.teamcamaro.com) more Camaros came with the non-power disc option.

There is a 70 442 W-30 OE master for non-power disk with 1" bore. Then there is the Camaro master 1" bore maybe the same unit, not sure. Supposedly the 1" bore required too much pedal pressure and a lot of people prefer the 15/16 bore of later Malibus.

I'm going to try the W-30 master first and see how it feels.
