Hey Folks-
My new car has a pretty beat set of stock buckets in it. I'm looking to make it more comfortable for long trips and add some more back support, are there any newer buckets that are close to bolt in? I put 02 trans am seats in my Buick by simply bolting them to the seat tracks. Production or aftermarket suggestions would be great! Thanks,

I know from past threads that several have used seats from Summit. I believe the brand is Procar (or something similar). Some have said these seats sat a little high. Do a search on seats in this Forum. I recall a post several months ago that the poster acquired a set of buckets from some luxury car ( Jaguir/Lexus) I can't recall exactly what type of car they were from but I believe he paid $150 or so for the seats and was able to bolt them into his Velle. They were leather with recline etc. I would think most seats would work but you would need the seat tracks from the same seats. The trick would be in getting them mounted properly. You can buy single studs to mount a seat. They would need to be welded in. Any style seat you would put in your car other than a correct era A body seat would probably require a little welding. With that in mind most buckets could be adapted to your car.
