Got about three hundred bucks to spend, and wanted some opinions first, I've got a 66 malibu that handles o.k., not too bad, should I buy new shocks all the way around, or buy a front end rebuild kit, to improve handling?

I had a 67 Malibu and I couldn't believe the difference in my car by replacing all the shocks, buying new swaybar bushings (and endlinks) and tightening the worm gear in the power steering box. I don't know what the rest of your front end looks like but that's my opinion....

KYB makes a good set of shocks for your car. Cost about $120.00 for a full set.

my 66 has a350 small block out of a 78 camero, when ordering the shocks, what size should I say the engine is?

KYB only makes one shock for either small or big block, no need to specify. Springs are a different story though. When ordering springs you will need to specify the correct engine to get the proper stance.

i rebuilt my car entirely, now i'm broke but the car handles unbelievably.ENERGY SUSPENSION makes a complete kit that won't cost you that much for how much you will benifit from the new poly everything.the car is so predictable in how it responds to my driving, from easy to outright pounding the throttle.the car launches so well i might try it once with no hands,no i don't think i will get that carried away graemlins/clonk.gif honestly though i think the money i spent on my suspension was very well spent.
