A man stopped me yesterday said my right rear brake lamp was inop. Got home replaced bulb, still inop. Right turn signal works, tail light works, Four way flashers work. Test for ground by putting wire down beside bulb and connecting to new ground. Need Help, What Could Cause This problem.

The brake lights operate through the turn signal switch.
Make sure the turn signal lever is centered or one or the other brake light will not work.
You may need to refurbish the turn signal switch.

Kind of took the weekend off from working on car, but when I resume working next week I will Check the turn signal switch. I will let you know. Thanks For The Direction To Look.

Just got my turn signal switch at 6:30 this evening, ate dinner. Installed new turn signal switch, stepped on the brake pedal got both brake lights.
