I'm going with 245/45/17 front and 285/40/17 on rear of 66 chevelle.
I have a choice of Nitto 555 tire or Kumho SPT brand.
Can anyone give me there opinion on wich tire would be better for all around driving and less road noise?

I run 245/45-17 Nitto 555 tires on my '67...pretty quiet at highway speeds.

I'd imagine the softer the tread, the quieter the ride. I had Kumho Ecstas on my old '02 Camaro SS and they were loud.

By the looks of the pattern of the Nitto, I would think it'd be somewhat more quiet.
