Hi everybody..I decided to ask before I purchase for once. I am looking to install a new dash and all new gauges. Does anyone have a preference. I dont want to get carried away with spending too much money. Just want a clean looking dash with all the appropriate 'clear to read' gauges. Any pics would be awesome..but also with descriptions and leads on who to contact for purchase. Thanks,

I saw a car at a show ('65 with a '64 dash) and he had installed an aluminum plate over the front of the '64 dash. Then he installed aftermarket gauges - it looked great. I assume he cut out part of the center of the factory dash.... he did a great job. I'll try to post a picture when I get home for you to see. He was able to install an after market radio that looked good, the a/c vent in the proper place and did custom hi-beam and turn indicators - probably LED. Lights and wiper were in the proper location also.
