After hours and hours or maybe it was days and days chasing down everything from my switch, the correct wires going to the correct terminals and purchasing a new motor/washer I finely figured out why my system would not work. Seems that I only have 8 volts going to the motor through the hot (B/Y) wire. I switched to another accessory wire and the motor works. Why would I only have 8 volts on the B/Y wire? Could it be a bad wire connection, could it be the insulation is frayed and touching ground or could it be something at the fuse panel? Second question: why did GM design a wiper motor to be hot all the time and work only when a ground is applied? This is contrary to how any motor or other electrical component works? There must have been a reason??? Charlie
