I have a 96 gmc sierra. seems to be a little play in the steering wheel. is this norma? truck only has 77,000 miles on it. any help is appreciated.

Have someone move the wheel back and forth with the engine off but the ign unlocked and look at the pitman arm where in connects to the center link and while you have a helper, look and all the other connections in the steering system under the truck.Let us know what you find.

my mistake, the wheel is loose at the column
you notice it on rough roads. the suspension is tight as is the truck
