I bought a front disc set up off of a 72 Monte. I was told it will work for my 68 elcamino swap. Is this true and if so any suggestions on master cylinder and proportioning valve replacement. Thanks.

yep, it will bolt right on. do you care about looking original? if so you need to find the 68-70 disc brake proportioning valve and distribution block. it looks like this: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&category=33566&item=2431810296
then match that up with 68-70 master cylinder and booster. or if you dont care, use 71 or 72 chevelle proportioning valve and master cylinder and booster (which is easier to get) and 71-72 elky lines. graemlins/thumbsup.gif
