I'll likely bring Roger's 68 chevelle with my 355 in it to make some passes. I'm gonna get that car in the 9's even if I have to squeeze. He dropped it off a few days ago and it's ready to go. Just do a quick little engine tune go over and ready for full throttle blasts.

I am going to shoot for the 18th and or the 25th.
I need to get back out in the garage and finish my tuning.

Im gona be shooting for a bare minimum of 9.79. If the weather is in the 0 da range its gona be about 2 tenths faster than that though.:D

That would be a sweet way for tweets to go out.

I dont think I will have time the rest of this season. Im busy every weekend in Sept. Im satisfied with the time slips this year. Maybe next year I can get kicked off and then I will have to build a real race car.:D

I got enough Kitchen credit for another outting- just need to pick which one will have the most people at it.

I was talking with Gary today, and we both would like to run the 1/4 one more time this year. However, the more I think about it, the less likely it is for me.

I consider myself lucky to have not grenaded my rear diff by now, and I told myself if I made it through Pinks without a catastrophic failure I would be happy with that.

So I think I have to pass on the next outing as a participant, and put the $$$ towards my differential upgrade.

I'll feel alot more confident next season with a spool, 4.56 gears, and 33 spline axles with the c-clip eliminators.

And if I really haven't worn out the welcome mat, I may even have some front disc brakes.

I guess I better start smoking up some salmon now.

The 11th thru the 13th is "The Rod Run To The End Of The World" weekend :hurray::beers::hurray:. If the weather is good I will be hanging out and cruising with 2000+ other hot rods in Longbeach.

When's the spring get together? Gotta start planning;)

That reminds me, You need to score a set of front disk backing plates. I need that to start the spindle machine work.
