there is a guy that lives not to far away
and he has,,,,,, HAD a bunch of old cars on his
place 30's 40's 50's 60's 70's and more
well i had been trying to get 2 from him for
awhile now 1968 RS/SS camaro, and a 1957 belair
2 door , and you know what his answer has been .
well over the yrs he has gotten old ,his crackhead
kids came in and to get money for drugs ,
cut them up for scap!:mad:

guess you dont need a title if you bring pieces
of metal in the back of your cracktruck!

the point is if you have to many projects and you cant
work on them all ,
dont wait till your * for brains relatives come
rip you off , when the guy who came by and made you
a cash offer !
(I offered him $15'000 for both and they did need
work, had 1 of each when I was a kid )

I can see why it would be frustrating, but, if you are that determined, I bet you could find them elsewhere.

Like John said, It happens every day. But the sad truth is, There his cars and if he wants to scrap them for the price of the steel, There's really nothing anyone can do..

I think that happens more than we will every know. Sad to think there is one less RS/SS Camaro and 57 Chevy 2 door hard top and to think they went for drug money :mad: I would like to find another 57 Chevy 2 door hard top that needs some work so I can get my boys out in the shop and have them help redo it. We kinda miss the one we sold.

I have a friend who has jockeyed cars for years. No "real" job since I met him in 1989. He's always had a couple as drivers and one or 2 in the various stages of getting done. There's always a couple just sitting. I talked with his kid on Sat and he's finally getting to the 69 Camaro pace car from his storage field and into the garage.

they are the cat lady's of our hobby. they think they are saving something, but in reality, very few get what they deserve.

i've bitched on here for years that a neighbor, had a couple judges rotting on the side of his house, well lo and behold, the judges are gone, and i've seen a fairly nice one rolling around town, i think it's him, maybe he inherited some $ or something, but sure enough he's driving a judge....

I have some cars that are sitting waiting for me to get to, make a stupid high offer and you can have them all..make a stupid low offer and they can sit there. They dont eat anything, dont cost anything to store, and make good shelfs to store things on.
