Denny's has a 2-3 week bo on their th400 special yoke for bolt on style output shaft. Does anyone else have yokes like these?

or do like I did,,just have the longer yoke cut down,,all Denny's does is bore out the first 1-1/2" of the inner teeth to allow the standard yoke to travel further over the spline.

How does cutting down a longer yoke solve the problem? You still need a yoke with a counterbore.

The don't shorten the yoke...they remove the inside splines from the first 1.5" or so. You're left with the same long yoke, but it now will slide over the non-splined portion of the output shaft and seat fully into the tranny.

By the way, I have a spare yoke from Denny's...I originally bought the one for 1350 sized u-joints, then decided to go with 1330 since that matched my driveshaft without a conversion u-joint, so bought another one. If you're interested in the 1350 yoke, send me a PM, I'll sell it for what I paid Denny's. It's brand new in the box.

I ended up ordering one from Driveshaft Specialist this morning. Considerably less then Denny's I might add. Thank you though
