While replacing the body mounts on my 67 chevelle hardtop, I noticed that the ones under the doors were different?? whats the deal? they seem to have a round cylinder coming down from the body.
what do i do? :mad:

Buy new monts. the cylinder is part of the mount, not the body. They are the same for all locations.

On my 68 that one was actually just a rubber bushing that was being pressed between teh frame and body. I used polyurethane body bushings so i had to reuse all my old shells. Anyway i just jacked up the body and slipped the old one out and put the one new one. Not as easy as i just said but you get the idea.
