I have found a donor car ('71 Lemans) for a disc brake set up for the front of my 68 Chevelle. Will this set up work, or will I run into problems?

They will bolt right up. Grab EVERYTHING..... Spindles, calipers, rotors, master cylinder, booster, and both valves under the master cylinder.

So it won't have the "tall" spindle on it right? Therefore, I won't have to worry about making that work?

Thanks, it's a real handful.

you don't have anything to worry about. 68-72 setups are identical almost.... except for the prop valve and dist block.... thats why you grab everything from the donor car, so that you will have the propper parts. The stock disc size on a Chevelle was 10 inch, along with the rest of the A-body line. Lemans, Cutlass, Skylark, Chevelle and all their big brothers. This also includes, the A body based wagons, elcominos, and 70-72 Monte Carlos. You are not doing the tall spindle 12 inch disc swap. You are doing the factory swap.

Oh, one more thing, can I put larger disc on this set up or will only 10" ones work?
