Hello,

I am new to this forum and after browsing thru the various topics, Im really impressed with the wealth of knowledge shared among members...so, here's my question.

I'm in the process of restoring a '67 Chevelle Malibu and am gathering parts for converting from manual to power steering. I have located a PS box with pitman arm from a '69 chevelle. Will the pitman arm from the '69 work? Thanks in advance.

I put power steering on my 67 Malibu about 8 years ago, and couldn't find any 67 donors, so I used a 69 also. I'm sure I used the pitman arm from the 69, too.

the pitman needs to be from a 65 - 67 car with power steering. the 69 bow has also got a quicker steering ratio that you will like. if you cant find one i could help. just pop me an email. tom

the 68-72 pitmans use a smaller pitman hole for the centerlink bolt. some one else can help verify this. tom
