for starters my car was a original console car and when I replaced the floor I never touched the original brackets on the floor, and the shifter hole. and I have a original console. :confused:

this is how it turned out. is this right

Looks like a retainer ring and boot from a non console car
Should not be visible on factory console car does your floor
Have the special raised hump in floor for shifter as in factory?
If not welding one in place will fix that

it was a factory 4 speed car with a console. and when I put new floors in the car I never touched the hump.:confused:
