: NSS & backup light switch - Column shift 'glide to TH350

I just swapped out my P-glide for a TH350 in my '65 Elky. Was able to modify the original column linkage/cross-shaft/etc. to mate up and it works beautifully.

The obvious problem is there's now an "extra notch" in the gear selection sector that the car doesn't know about!

Park is Park, and the car starts. The dangerous thing is the "spacing" for neutral on the column & original NSS now corresponds to the DRIVE(!) position using the TH-350! (I can crank/start the car IN GEAR)

For safety's sake, operational sanity, and peace of mind I want to get the NSS (especially) and the backup lights to work in correspondence with the actual (new) gear positions.

The question:
Would a NSS/backup switch from a '66/'67 (with a 3-speed trans) bolt-up/work/connect to my '65 column, and have the electrical contacts spaced in the "correct" positions?
