On a 67 Chevelle, can someone describe or show with a pic, of how the routing of the cables run. Do they go under or over the exhaust. I ran mine over the top of the exhaust and it rubs on the drive shaft. This cant be right. I looks if I run them under the exhaust they will rub on that too. Please help..Thx.. Vince..

I just put parking brake cables on a 67 on Saturday. There are 2 hooks that hold the intermediate cable to the floor brace. Make sure those are on there. One goes on each side. There are little slots in the floor brace where the hooks go.

Above the exhaust, below the transmission.

These are pictures of my '65, but the routing would be the same for a '67. My guess is you are missing some of the hooks that keep the cable out of harm's way.
