I added a right hand mirror from Original Parts Group to my '66. It doesn't adjust to see out of it properly from the drivers side. I think it needs to be formed like the newer cars that have the 'objects in mirror' tag. However, I can't find anyone to do it for me. Any ideas, or is it just going to be there purely for looks? Thanks.

The driver side mirror on a 66 is positioned poorly, It is hard to see anything in those small mirrors. I can't imagine trying to use a passenger mirror on a 66. Like you mentioned almost more for looks than being a functional mirror.

Probably why they didn't come with one ... least to the best of my knowledge.. :confused:

my wife can see real good from the passanger side, I tell her I put it on for her, makes her feel good!!!!

If you can tweak it to the left a little, it may be useable. I put one on the 65 Elky and scooted it about 1/4" from straight and it works. Isn't noticeable unless you are looking for it.
