A 300 IS a hardtop, just not a 2 door sports coupe hardtop....as they were referred to back-inna-day(as Dale Jr. would say).
Very nice car, Taboo....name????

I stand corrected, I've always seen the 'Bu/SS body called the HT Coupe. I thought the post cars were called 2-Door Sedans

A 4 door car is a Sedan hardtop....that's why it's not called a Coupe which has 2 doors, a hardtop, and no post. Of course there's the 2 door convertible. There never were sedan convertibles(4 door cars), so I guess this is sort of a gray area. From my understanding the non-post or Malibu and SS cars were called sports coupes or sports coupe convertibles because when all the side windows are rolled down, there's no obstructions in that area like a convertible car's side windows with no obstructions. A 2 door post hardtop is just what it says it is, and is a 300 model but most people don't refer to them as such.
FYI, the 2 door post and 4 door sedans are stronger bodies due to the posts supporting the roof in the middle and are actually better for drag racing with all that twisting going on during a launch. Good luck having fun getting the rear quarter windows out of a 2 door post car though:sad:

Motorvation Aug 21st, 09, 9:06 AM How many doors does a chicken coup have??? Two, of course.....If it had four it would be a chicken sedan.......See my 65 two door post (can't call it a sedan any more) pics in the Showroom........Taboo, the 66 is a beauty!!!!!
