looking for help... i am in the process of lowering my front end of my 69 chevelle ss bb
purchased opg 3 in lowering springs (don't know if that was a smart or not??) with stock upper and lower control arms. what would be a good shock to use for this set up? or am i asking for trouble on this whole set up?? any help would be great.

I put the OPG 2" drop spring on My 67 and they list a KYB shock just for the 2" lower spring. Everything worked great except for one time I put the car up on a lift to weld evac. tubes into the collectors and the right front shock blew out the top seal, when we left the car down off the lift oil shot out the top of the shock. I tried the 3" spring first and wound up sending them back for the 2". The car was way to low for the roads in PA.
