I have heard that the aftermarket 50" dash strip isn't that good. The few that I have seen did not impress me. I have a dash strip that is in good shape but will need rechromed. Can anyone suggest a place I could send it to that they know does good work at a resonable price. Also, what should I use to redo the black center of the strip, or will a rechrome company also do that? Thanks for any help.

Mr G's in Ft Worth Texas did mine for $80. Looks like new. They can also repair them if you need it. Try 817.831.3501. mgg

I sent mine to American Plastic Chrome in Romulus, Mi. It came out beautiful. It cost me $100. $50 for the chrome, $50 for painting the center black. The number is:
from 9AM-4PM (734) 721-1967 - Chuck
from 5PM-9PM (734) 261-4454 - Rod
I believe Rod is a member of TC.
