Well, I'm close-ish to getting a 327 for the princely sum of $50 bucks, but, I still live with my father. In his infinite wisdom, as soon as the mention of "327 Block" came up, he said "No, you aren't dragging any more parts home."

One would think he'd appreciate having stacks of Chevy parts given that A.) He already has stacks of parts and B.) His piece of **** '66 Elky (It grows moss) could expire at any moment. I think the likely reason is that his Girlfriend despises said stacks of parts.

So, can anybody help me out?

Edit:
LOL I sound like a brat. I understand not wanting the parts around. The other point he brought up was him wanting me to put brakes on the car before I do ANYTHING else, which is a good point.

But, I'm not letting a 327 go for fifty bucks if I can use it.

Gimme a call, I'm sure we can make some room for it around my shop.
You'll have to help me make some room, the 454 block needs to come off the engine stand to go to get cleaned up.

You are right, a 327 block for $50 is a heck of a deal.

Thanks for the help guys. The guy didn't get back to me though and I'm leaving for the weekend.

If its still there by the time I'm back, somethings either very wrong with it, or the guy is a total flake.
