Hey I've been looking for a 2800 stall converter and I found this one. From the readings it seems to be an ok converter and come with a 1 year warranty w/unlimited miles. What do you guys think of this one.

I think a converter is KEY to performance, and I wouldn't touch an Ebay converter. Better to check out ATI, BTE, Coan, etc - I know some of them are a little pricey, but if on a budget some guys here can help you out better than I can. BTE is not that expensive, and they make a good converter.

Edit: on the plus side, it's a USA made converter - maybe someone here can post some comments on them, I haven't heard of them before.

Thanks for the response, I will search more into that. I was kind of skeptical on the ebay converter for $260 then they said with 1 year warranty and unlimited miles. I was thinking about a redneck trans converter. but I dont know yet.

Check also with jakeshoe (I think that's his forum name) here, he's a great resource and can probably set you up with a good converter from a reputable source.
