if a relay goes bad could it restrict amp flow? my holley blue fuel pump is having a hard time keeping up and after i run it for a while my fuel psi gauge reads really low. im going to try and run it without the relay and see what happens just want to see if im on the right track here
thanks!

Normally a relay either works (makes contact) or don't and if it's bad nothing will happen.

I have seen only one relay ever as you describe. It was on the fan circuit. The relay "clicked" indicating it was functioning and when the coil was energized it would turn on a small trouble light, a 0.83A load.
However when the fan was connected to the relay representing a 22 amp load it would not turn the fan on nor the little light.
Bad Chinese relay. Replaced it with a Panasonic relay from Digikey.
