Hi,Im helping a friend with a 69 nova ss.The problem is it keeps blowing the fusable link up by the regulator.It was running great,shut it off ,went to start it again and the starter was dragging real slow,then the fusablelink popped.I changed it and now when you hook the battery back up the fusable link wire gets very hot.Could it be the starter?All the fuses are good etc.Im thinking its a wire grounding somewhere but I cant find it.Any ideas?Thanks

Sounds like the positive cable from the battery is bad (too high a resistance but not open).
