My passenger side rear brakes are trashed. The short version is i need the spring that is oval and goes over the parking brake strut. This spring is not included inn any spring kit I can find thru an auto parts dealer.
any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

That spring isn,t part of a combi kit but it may be included with the self adjuster kit i think.

Or you might try an 80's G body car, they have the same size brakes.

The spring you need is shown in the back of the brake hardware books. Carlson, Lee, Wagner etc. don't really list them, they consider them generic parts. Get your parts guy to let you look in the back of the book. They are identified by color codes so check your old one.

edit: part# is 1341, or H1341 or H1341-2 or like that, depending on your favorite brand. They are green and look to be the same on all 9 1/2" GM's.
