Bought a 67 Mustang coupe this weekend. Gotta go get it tonight. Been stripped but all parts are there it appears. GT hood. All the glass, seats, trim, etc. Haven't run the #'s.
302 Engine cranks. Auto. Body is all in primer. Shock towers have a hole cut out part way down.
Appears someone put a big block in it at some point.
$500 bucks. He wanted $1500 a month ago. Couldn't pass it up.
Guess I have another muti-year project. The wife will love it when done.
Offered a 54 Buick Special 2 door for trade already and haven't even gotten it. Gonna go look at it too.
Guess I don't have enough to do on my free time (don't like to watch TV):noway:
I know it's not a Chevelle but thought I'd share.

Thanks, guys
Borrowed a trailer on the way home from work and got it this afternoon. I saw it once before but it was dark.
I got a gift. Interior still has paint. The headliner is gone and the inside of roof is not rusted. Floors are good with only 2 holes about the size of a quarter under driver's feet.
Checked it out good underneath and all is good. Window channels are good. Rockers are good. My paint buddy that helped me with my Chevelle checked it out. No visible rust anywhere on body panels.....but it is covered in old primer.
Car is gutted, but from what I could tell, all is there. Trunk is good.
I will probably replace the trunk lid as the back edge is a little rough.
Engine & bay looks really good and sounds good.
Like I said, the towers have had a cut out on each.
Dang, today was my day.
