I looked in the search section and I couldn't find the answer I was looking for.

I just installed Hotchkis 1" lowering coils on my BB 71. It did not drop as much as I wanted it to so how much do you cut off of the coil to get it to drop 1" ?

Thanks !

Tom

They are supposedly progressive, and word is you can trim off of the tight wound end. Measurement and trial and error are your friends, grasshopper. Proceed slowly and MEASURE. If you just did the drop, drive it around and hit a few bumps for a couple of weeks, then sit back with a beer and look again. Lots of times, new springs have to "settle" before the final look is achieved. Hope it helps!

Drive the car around for a couple hundred miles and you'll see the springs settle. You'll probably like the ride height then graemlins/thumbsup.gif
