Hello all, this is my first post so hopefully it works. I'm rebuilding the front end with a PST kit. Two questions: 1) are there torque specs to follow with reassembly, and where do you find them, and 2) i read somewhere that the inner support shaft bolts are splined and can't be turned. So since i did turn them to get them out do they need to be replaced with new ones?
Any response appreciated for a rookie in restoring, thanks!

The splined bolts I'm ASSuming are the 2 that attach the cross shaft to the frame correct? If those have been turned then you will need to get new bolts or tack weld them in place.

Torque specs for what? All the fasteners?
Use the search button for torque spec in this topic.

Thanks dennis68. The 2 bolts attaching the cross shaft to the frame is correct. Do most part stores carry those? Torque specs for ball joints, swaybar to frame bolts, cross shaft to frame, idler arm, etc.

You can get them at the dealer, if you can find a parts guy that knows and is willing to look for old parts like that. First 2 I tried said no, we wouldn't have anything like that. Third one said sure, how many?
