Does anybody have a part number for the F41 front stabilizer sway bar on the front of a 1969 SS.
Are they the same for 1970 SS F41
And are they the same for 1971 - 1972 F41.
My parts list ends at the 1969 models, but at least the F41 was on the list.
The part number given for 1969 with F41 was 402544. This is from a 1972 parts book that covered '64 - '69 models. The part # for the non F41 cars was a superceded part #, meaning probably a 1972 part off the shelf. The non-F41 1969 & all '68s used the replacement # 401194.
I should also mention that there are different bushings depending on whether or not F41 was specified. You need a pair of # 396420 with F41. The non-F41 used a pair of # 388294 bushings.

Thanks Cam. We have a Chevelle parts catalog revised Oct 1969 but in GRoup 7.421 does not list 68-69 F41 bar. Only the stock bar (non spec susp) 398499.
We also have a 1970 catalog and it showes the 402544 for F41. So it sound like the 402544 number is what we have to work with.
We are junking a 88 Caprice and the front bar looks like 69 F41 bar and it has a part number of 14094340 on the bar. I wonder if it is the same?????? We will get the bar off tonight or tomorrow and see if it matches up????
But I was wandering if there is a numbers trail that says they are the same?????
