Anyone using it for a street car? Hows it feel?

I have been driving my 66 for 39 + years with manual steering and it never has been a problem for me. I like it because it helps keep the engine bay cleaned up. Plus I recently installed a 396 which as you know added more weight to the bow but it drives fine, can be a little tough at low speeds and turning situations. Put another way I have no intentions of doing an upgrade to power steering. Just my 2 cents worth.

I drove my -69 with manual steering for a couple of years. You have to wrestle it quite a bit when parking, but once you're on the highway it's not too bad. I'd say that if it's a daily driver, it will probably get old very quickly. I also noticed that I was slower to react in traffic, as I was more used to the power steering in my daily driver.

I got tired of it anyway, so I installed power steering.
