She's off to the body shop today:hurray: Is it me or when you get ready to drop off your car to a shop do you go " Man I hope they do a good job " and leave with your fingers crossed. I have never had anything painted before but his work looked good to me. But on the other hand I'm an Alarm guy lol. I guess we will see in about a month as to what heppens to her.

It's an exciting time, but so is pulling your wallet out to pay for it, lol.

The way you can tell if they do good work is to look down the side and wave at it. You don't want it to wave back, ha!

Post pic's when it's done and congrats, have fun.

Looks like you did a bunch of the work body men hate to do. I expect you did remember to take the front corner pieces and rear side marker bezels so they can be match painted too eh? :) I recommend finding a set of roll arounds for wheels/tires so your nice tires don't ended up with overspray. No matter how hard painters try there always seems to be some serious (ie pain in the butt) clean up on those. Good Luck

Only a month? I took mine as a completely stripped roller to the shop with only needing one little piece on the rear valence fabbed up and it took 26 weeks. Looking forward to seeing pics.

No big deal the car does not have A/C and well being how it is 115 outside I won't miss it.

I will pass that along, I had to get new tires to move it when I bought it but thanks.

Wow that sucks but I'm sure your car is very nice. I hope mine looks good with the green. Meaning the body work is nice enough.

Update 9-07-09. She is at the shop still but getting ready for the trip home. I will need to find a good wet sand guy to get out the dirt in the clear but whatever. This picture is from my blackberry so don't slam me to bad.

Once I go get some new door pins it will line up real nice. I forgot to do this before I painted the car but hey what do I know I have never had a car painted before.
