lived in leesburg va about 20 years ago. man I used to love cruising up to "fredneck" (as the snobby no. va.'s called it) in my 67ss. car was in pretty sad shape then. it sure is a cool little town with rows of bars on main street. seems like there was a womens college there. they liked my suthun drawl too. only bad experience I had was coming home at 2am from there one night going about 80 mph - hit a beautiful 8 point buck that basically took out the passenger side sheet metal on the ol chevelle.....back in dixie now (where I belong) but man what some memories.....I remember the killer hot rods cruising that street. hope the scene is stilll the same.....yall have fun !!!:beers:

Hey living in Frederick we called it Fredneck too. In the 70's Frederick was a nice small town, now it is a big city. I moved away in the early 90's but visit every so often.

I sure miss driving my 72 at 60 MPH down Shookstown Road trying to go airborne on the wooden bridge at Waverly School.

isn't there a cruise/show there this coming sunday?

I lived over there a few years. When I moved down here to Hagerstown from Forstburg 10 years ago they were calling Frederick "frantic fritchyville."
