Headed up to their 1/8th mi track tomorrow morning! It's been so long since I've been at the drags. I think it has been since 2005 or so, and I have never raced with this combo.

Gotta go helmet shopping, and going to adjust the shift points down a little bit, somewhere in the 6200-6300 RPM range (where they were before I decided to mess with it again)...

We'll see if I can get anywhere close to that .003 light like I had last time!

Good Luck:thumbsup: Is it 1/8th or a 1/4 track? A lot of the tracks here in Texas are 1/8:mad:

Took her out for a few test runs after adjusting the shift govenor, well one of the little e-clips came off and it went up to 6500 and I lost both belts this time! Came home and fixed it, then tried again - shifts at 5500 now but no belts jumping off. Tired of messing with it so I'm just going to leave it like that for tomorrow and play with it later. Might try swapping the #5 weight for the #6 weight. (B&M govenor recalibration kit)

I guess I am:o

It was a long day here and I'm tired as hell. Guess I shouldn't post tired.

Didn't do too well, what with zero traction. 1st run was tire smoke most of the way. The 2nd run I about put it into the wall at 55 mph, after it got sideways at the top of 2nd gear. 3rd run just p*ssy footed it the whole way and got a whopping 10.15 at 75 or so MPH. 60' times consistently in the 2.4* range! When the first round hit I had to leave for an equipment failure - stupid window wouldn't roll up. :( Waste of an extra $25.

Sorry to hear that, you need to get over here to one of the Bremerton events. We got lots of spare sets of slicks, and tuning equipment at the TCNW speed partys.

Mark, Uncle Sam don't take excuses, nigh do I.;)

It was fun, just kinda scary at times. I am still planning on going over there this summer, but jeez it has been a busy summer. Where does the time go? End of September would be a good time, I think.

Just be careful around Dave, be sure and ask if he's been fed and walked before you just go up to him. And yes, he always smells that way.........:D
