I purchased this disc brake conversion kit around 3 years ago and I lost the instructions. anyway Im trying to figure out what this is and how its mounted. I know the lines come out of the M/C into the valve but here are my questions

1. the output lines have one big hole in the front and one small hole opposite the input lines. How do they connect in relation to the front or back lines?

2. also I have a distribution block on the frame. does this take the place of the distibution block or do I leave the dist. block in place, and put this vlave between the M/C and dist. block?

thanks guys. this is the last piece of the disc swap.

Its called a combination valve(includes metering, proportioning, and brake warning), but is generally referred to as a proportioning valve. The two holes in the upper middle come from the mc; the disc side nearest the small holes one one end which are the output to the front discs, and the drum side nearest the largest hole on the end (the output to the rear drums). You can plug one of the disc ouput lines and continue to use the existing front lines and distribution block, or run new lines fom each.According to the Hurst line lock installation instructions, it'll make little or no difference.Since I am doing the same installation at this time, I'm planning to use my existing lines and distributing block, with adaptors, so I won't have to redo my line lock or most of my tubes.

I just put one of these on my car, ripped out the old distribution lock.My question is on this new distribution block ,the large brass nut on the end where the rear brake line hooks up.is this adjustable.
TIA

You just use it to replace your current distribution block. It is not adjustable, loosening the large nut will only cause it to leak.

I hear the little button on the end needs to be pushed in while bleeding, can i do this without the GM special tool and how far does the button need to go in
