I was asked a question the other day that I did not know the answer to (not that I know a great amount anyway) so I thought I would toss it out to the people in the know.

For my 67 right under the speedometer there is the indicator for the tramsmission to show if you are in Park, R, D L, so if this was a manual transmission would a diferent dash layout be used that deleted the P R D L?

That spot in the dash is blank on a manual shift car.
