Hi all, I was told in an earlier post that I could turn my offset shafts around. Dose this mean to swap them from side to side putting the wheel side stamp towards the tire ? Thanks Ralph. smile.gif

The "wheel side" make would just face the engine side (and I think it will be upside down too), I don't think there is a "front or back" longways, it's just offset to one side.

By running the offset away from the block we reduced the number of shims required to align the tall spindles. With headers it's a tight fit, and we had to loosen (i.e. completely drop it) the header to get them in place. If you can, push out the cross shaft bolts (using a c-clamp and a deep well socket). I think it would have been a lot easier.

We used this method to put tall Spindles on a 65 Chevelle, with 2" sb drop springs, and 17" wheels. Perfect stance.
