Car looks great and I love the color combo! I think you are at a good asking price for the car, good luck with the sale!

I think you are going to get your feelings hurt. I have been watching them on e-bay. Here is one http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=130322827229&viewitem=&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWAX%3AIT
starts at 7500.00 and not one bid.
If someone offered me 10k for my 72 HC, they would own it. If I had known what I know now, I would have cloned it into a SS.

Yea, but that one does need a lot of body work done. It crackin at the sails(you have to "get the led out") :D , and bubbles all over. IMO, a real Heavy Chevy should be at least $15,000 assuming it doesn't look like that^

Let me clarify, It is a great car, no doubt it is worth the money, What I was saying is, I doubt he gets that for it. For example, none of the folks that have said it is well worth it has came up with any cash. I am betting if the one on e-bay was a SS clone someone would have bid on it. example

thanks guys for the comments this is why i posted it to get sense of what a cross section of prople think i am surprised a few thought my asking price was on target and also surprised that some one thinks its only worth half dont get me wrong im not whining just thinken out loud i my self would not not care if i drove an ss clone or a real one but to have a documented car wether its an ss or a heavy i would think it would make the car more valuable to certain people that is why i chose to find a real one any way thnks
